Trina Schart Hyman illustrated over 140 children's books over more than thirty years. She was awarded four Caldecott awards and was the initial Art Director for Cricket magazine. Her paintings have enriched a wide range of literature, including St. George and the Dragon, A Child's Calendar, Little Red Riding Hood and Swan Lake. Trina Schart Hyman lived and worked on a farm in Lyme, New Hampshire and died of cancer, Nov. 19, 2004. April 1, 2006 Katrin Hyman Tchana visited the Gallery for the release of the book Changing Woman and Her Sisters, Stories from Around the World. Katrin is not selling the art from this final book done with her mother. She is pleased to join with the Child at Heart Gallery to offer limited edition prints of the Goddesses, created from the original collage paintings. 2008 - The Child at Heart is the exclusive source of Limited Edition prints from Little Red Riding Hood.
