Grace Lin is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and tries to attend their annual holiday show. She lives in Massachusetts and travels the US doing school visits. The Gallery has prints from $10 to $180 and original watercolors from $1,500 to $2,000. She writes and illustrates school novels featuring the signs of the Chinese calendar and fairy tales, as well as picture books. The Child at Heart Art Gallery hosted the Robert Snowflake project which generated funds for Dana Farber Cancer Institute during his life.
Grace continues her community outreach and in 2009, a painting a month was auctioned on ebay to benefit the Foundation of Children's Books (
www.thefcb.org), to aid their program
of bring authors into low-income schools. From these original paintings the SMALL GRACES prints were created.
